Magenta To Headline Nineteen-73 Live
.
(Prog) Magenta have been confirmed as headliners for a one-day event in the UK next year. They'll take to the stage at the Robin in Bilston on April 2, 2017, at an event titled Nineteen-73 Live. It's the brainchild of Summer's End festival co-organiser Stephen Lambe and will also feature sets from Rob Cottingham's new band Cairo, Midnight Sun, which features Summer's End co-organiser Huw Lloyd-Jones on lead vocals and Elaine Samuels And Kindred Spirit. Lambe says: "This is very much a triple-celebration. We will be launching Magenta's as-yet-untitled new album, celebrating my 55th birthday on that day - and also marking the first anniversary of Nineteen-73, the Progressive Rock promotion organization which I launched in the spring of 2016."
