Frank Iero Cancels Tour Following Bus Accident
.
(TeamRock) Frank Iero And The Patience have cancelled the remainder of their 2016 tour after they were involved in a bus accident last week. The guitarist was unloading the band's van with other crew members in Sydney, Australia, on Friday when a vehicle crashed into them. Two men were rushed to hospital and another was treated by paramedics at the scene. Iero updated fans on Twitter, saying: "Hi friends thanks all for the well wishes. We're pretty banged up but miraculously alive and in stable condition. I'm still in a state of shock." But due to the injuries, they've scrapped all previously announced live dates for this year, which included an extensive run across the US. A statement reads: "Due to the severity of injuries sustained in Australia, Frank Iero And The Patience will be cancelling all future performances in 2016. All tickets will be refunded."
