Chris Cornell Announces South American Tour

(Gibson) Chris Cornell is hanging back from Soundgarden this year, but he's plenty busy. The famed frontman is hitting the road with Temple of the Dog later this year, and he just announced a string of South American tour dates to promote his latest solo album, Higher Truth. Cornell's South American solo tour kicks off Nov. 28 in Santiago, Chile, and will wrap up Dec. 14 at a gig in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As for material, Cornell will keep in line with his typical Higher Truth shows and throw in solo tracks, plus material from his bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog. Switching gears to the Temple of the Dog reunion tour, that trek will kick off November 4 in Philadelphia and bring together Cornell, Soundgarden's Matt Cameron and Pearl Jam members Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready. It's the group first ever tour. Read more here. Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
