James Corden Becomes David Bowie, Slash in Apple Music Ad
.
(Radio.com) The host of The Late Late Show James Corden has a new gig: musician impersonator. In a commercial for Apple Music which premiered on Sunday (Sept. 18), Corden is depicted in a meeting with Apple executives Jimmy Iovine, Eddy Cue and Bozoma Saint John to pitch new ways to promote the music streaming service. One of Corden's ideas involves dressing up as music legends like David Bowie, Slash, the Spice Girls and Pharrell Williams. "Me as every iconic music star in history. Bang! I'm Bowie," he says as an image of him in Bowie Aladdin Sane face paint is shown as the late artist's music is played. "I'm Slash. Gah! I'm the Spice Girls. Psh! I'm Pharrell." Corden is awoken from his commercial dream when Pharrell enters and says: "Stop." The executives aren't into his idea either so he shares a few other options. Watch Corden's ideas come to life here.
