Jill Scott and Tyrese Lead Train Weekend Lineup

(Radio.com) Jill Scott, Tyrese, Monica, Anthony Hamilton and Jazmine Sullivan are confirmed as performers for Soul Train Weekend 2016. The four-day celebration leads into the 2016 Soul Train Awards, held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Monica, Sullivan and Yuna will kick off the weekend on November 3, with an Acoustically Speaking concert at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. Friday evening Scott, Tyrese, Hamilton and Tish Hyman will perform at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Saturday's Soul Train Day Party will take place at the resort's Daylight Beach Club and will feature Bell Biv DeVoe and Kid Capri. That evening, comedians Cedric 'The Entertainer," Eddie Griffin, D.L. Hughley, George Lopez and Charlie Murphy will take the stage at The Comedy Get Down. Read more here.
