Slash is expected to release a new album through Koch in September. This is will be Slash's second release since leaving Guns 'N' Roses. In 1995 his band,Slash's Snakepit, released "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" through Geffen Records. Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, Alice Cooper) is producing the new album.
Slash and his new band are expected to take their show on the road this fall to support the new album. They are said to be the opening band on AC/DC's North American Tour, according to Billboard. The band lineup includes Rod Jackson on vocals, Matt Laug on drums, Johnny Blackout on Bass and Kerry Kelly as the second guitarist
Also signed to Koch is Stabbing Westward. The industrial band that enjoyed success with their last album "Darkest Days" through Columbia Records, is now in the studio working on the follow up. The new album is being produced by Bob Rock (Metallica's Black Album) and is expected to be released by Koch Records in March 2001.
