As expected next weeks Billboard 200 album chart will be topped by NSyncs latest offering Celebrity.
The first week sales of Celebrity came in at 1.88 Million copies sold. However, this falls short of the groups first week sales for their last album, No Strings Attached, which sold a record breaking 2.4 million copies in its first week on store shelves back in March of 2000.
This weeks chart topping album Alicia Keys Songs in A Minor was relegated to second place next week with sales of 202,000 copies.
So it looks as if the boyband era is still alive and well although not as potent as it was last year.
