This week Beck released a limited edition CD available for sale exclusively through his ARTISTdirect.com online store.  In press release issued last week the following details about the CD were announced: � �Beck,� a special collection of b-sides and remixes assembled by the ever-eclectic DGC recording artist BECK, will be available exclusively at http://beckdirect.com or beck.com, beginning Tuesday, February 20.  "Beck" is a special limited-edition CD produced by the artist for his fans with an intended run of only 5,000 copies.  The "Beck" CD will not be downloaded from the site, but fans will log on to order the CD which will be mailed to them, jewel case, artwork and all.� 

Online fans of hard rockers Staind are being presented with a special �web-only� CD offer. The band recently re-released a special reissue of their 1996 independent debut album �Tormented�. The eleven-track reissue is reported to be exactly the same as the original release and fans can only order it through their branded online store Stainddirect.com, which is also part of the ever-growing ARTISTdirect network.
