The drug charges came after Bach was arrested
and officers found him in possession of five grams of marijuana and four
packets of rolling papers. Since the bartender�s testimony was not needed
to prosecute Bach on the drug charges, the court upheld them. Bach requested
a conditional release, which is a alternative sentencing program in place
for first time drug offenders where they are offered the option of undergoing
a period of state supervision instead of going through standard criminal
procedures.
Under the conditions of his conditional
discharge, Bach was order to pay a fine of $860 and agree to undergo one
year of state supervision. If Bach completes his one-year of supervision
the related drug charges will be dropped.
According to press accounts, Bach, who had a short-lived VH1 series �Forever Wild�, is said to be currently working on a new studio album and DVD as well as contemplating taking a role in a Los Angeles production of the musical �Jesus Christ Superstar�.
