Talk about irony, Korn lines up a tour with Disturbed and TRUSTcompany, dubs it the “Pop Sux Tour" but then gets one of pop music’s biggest backers to sponsor the tour, MTV. That sort of like Planned Parenthood hosting a "pro-life" fundraiser for Oliver North.

The tour is set to kick off on October 8th in Manchester, N.H. and will hit an estimated 35 cites. A few of the tentative dates have been announced with tickets for a dozen shows going on sale a week on September 7th via ticketmaster.

Aside from MTV, Sony Playstation and Pony apparel are also sponsoring the tour. In order to appeal to pop music’s biggest demographic a limited number of tickets are going to be sold at $10 each to fans under the age of 19.
