For Immediate Release:
Montreal's SLAVES ON DOPE Sign to Bieler
Bros. Records
New Album Due in Spring 2003
Montreal-based extreme rock terror SLAVES ON DOPE has recently announced their signing to Bieler Bros. Records for the forthcoming release of their sophomore effort.
In an announcement from bassist Frank Salvaggio, he says, "We are excited to announce the signing to Bieler Bros. Records. After many trials and tribulations, we are ready to take on the important commitment to SLAVES ON DOPE's future. A commitment to continue what we started and to keep spreading the message to all, that Slaves on Dope is back and stronger and more united than ever. We will not tire nor will we falter and we will do everything in our power to give you a new and intense SLAVES ON DOPE album that will not disappoint."
Bieler Bros., an imprint of MCA Records, is also home to rock upstarts, like Legends Of Rodeo, Sunset Black, and Darwin's Waiting Room, as well as acting as the management company for Nonpoint. CEO Jason Bieler welcomes the opportunity to work with SLAVES ON DOPE: "We are thrilled to have Slaves On Dope join the Bieler family. Once we heard the new music and spoke with the band we knew this was something we wanted to be a part of. We look forward to a long relationship with this band and we are excited to have the Bieler Bros. team build upon the strong foundation they already have."
Having risen to notoriety on 2000's Ozzfest and releasing their debut album 'Inches From The Mainline' that same year, SLAVES ON DOPE remained visible with high-profile tours with Papa Roach and System Of A Down. Currently in Montreal wrapping pre-production, the band will head to Boca Raton, FL to record the Bieler Bros. debut, under the production wisdom of Jason Slater (Snake River Conspiracy, Earshot) for a Spring 2003 release.
