FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March, 2002

MEGAFORCE RECORDS SIGNS FOZZY IN UNPRECENDENTED 7-FIGURE DEAL

FOZZY is excited and arrogant to announce a new seven-figure record deal with Megaforce Records

After entertaining many offers from some of the biggest record companies in the world and elsewhere, we decided to re-sign with the best, Megaforce, says influential sex God, Moongoose McQueen(aka WWF superstar Chris Jericho).

First off...the new cd kicks major metal A**!!!  The tunes sound so heavy and its such a pleasure to finally be able to release these songs the way they were meant to be recorded, comments Moongoose. The new songs that havent been ripped off yet are absolutely fantastic as well.  Moongoose continues, The new line-up is stoked and the guys are really giving me lots of adoration and respect completely kissing my leather-clad rear.

On April 5th, Fozzy will storm through New York City at The WWFs The World at 43rd and Broadway. It is a highly anticipated show, especially considering Fozzys last appearance in Times Square, where they drew several thousand overzealous fans flooding the streets and stopping traffic. Special celebrity guests will also be performing.

The new cd, to be released in July, is done and entitled, Happenstance. Produced by Shawn Grove(Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) in Atlanta, tracks rumored to be on the disc include:

Whitechapel-1888
To Kill A Stranger
Happenstance
Freewheel Burning
The Mob Rules
Big City Nights
Crucify Yourself
L.O.V.E. Machine
Balls To The Wall
With The Fire
Where Eagles Dare

Fozzy are huge rock stars and have been credited with the invention of Heavy Metal. The recent resurgence of heavy music has also been credited to Fozzy, including the new genre called, Nu-Metal.

Fozzy features wrestling superstar Chris Jericho as the irrepressible rock god, Moongoose McQueen; guitarist Rich Ward(formerly of Stuck Mojo) as the contract reader and legal advisor, Duke Larue; the cheese-loving drummer, KK Laflame, whos capable of naming over 100 cheeses; The Kid as the guitarist who doesnt speak, has no friends(except his parents) and no social skills whatsoever; bassist Claude Watty Watson, also known as the guy with the worst haircut known to man, who incidentally beat out Paul McCartney and Susanna Hoffs (formerly of The Bangles) for this gig; and finally, British guitar hero and the man with his own suit-of-armour, Lord Bayden Powell.
