Mac McAnally was forced to cancel his participation at a special event at the Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum this weekend celebrating the opening of its newest exhibition Muscle Shoals: Low Rhythm Rising.
McAnally took to social media to explain his absence, "I regret to say I've come home from the road with a nasty flu (thankfully not Covid) that has gifted me with fever and ever-increasing congestion.
"The fact that I can't talk without coughing seriously lowers the quality of any performance I might try and soldier thru today at the Country Music Hall of Fame. (I'm not that big a deal when fully healthy).
"I'm so sorry to cancel on short notice and can't wait to see the Muscle Shoals Exhibit without the possibility of making anybody else feel as poorly as I do.
"Until next time. -mm"
