(Atlantic) Multi-platinum Detroit rap powerhouse Tee Grizzley continues the momentum toward his highly anticipated studio album, They Forgot (arriving everywhere September 25th), with the release of his explosive new single, "Rain" featuring Detroit collaborator Skilla Baby and R&B legend Ashanti.

A high-energy remake of Ashanti's iconic hit single, "Rain" combines raw Motor City grit with nostalgic, chart-topping R&B flair. The release comes alongside an official music video starring both Tee Grizzley and Skilla Baby, delivering visually cinematic support to the anthem's high-octane delivery.

"Rain" builds directly on the runaway momentum of previous album singles "Back Ina Yams" and "No Effort 2" (the sequel to his 2017 hit "No Effort"). Together, this run of tracks highlights Grizzley's hunger, technical mastery, and undeniable authority as he prepares to unleash one of the most pivotal projects of his career.

The premise of They Forgot is embedded directly in its title: a hard-hitting, uncompromising reminder to critics, the industry, and listeners nationwide who may have forgotten the sheer depth of Grizzley's pen, his elite lyrical craftsmanship, and the raw storytelling ability that established him as one of hip-hop's most formidable forces.

This high-powered run of music comes alongside historic personal news: a Michigan judge recently granted the full expungement of Tee Grizzley's criminal record. A monumental achievement for the Detroit native, this legal victory marks a triumphant chapter of personal freedom and artistic renewal.
