In April 2017 my wife and I went from Sweden to Florida to attend my former drummer and his girlfriends wedding. We rented a car at Tampa airport and drove south to Sarasota. The wedding was awesome with people from many corners of the world.
After a few days staying in Siesta Key, awesome place by the way, we took off on our little road trip with Nashville as the end station. This was my first time driving in the US so I was thrilled about this trip. We drove north through Florida and into Georgia. I've never seen so much shopping malls. Almost one on each side on every exit.
One goal was to stay the night at a motel where you can park your car right outside, remember that we are from Sweden so that's a little exotic to us, and we found one south of Atlanta.
The day after we took off after breakfast and I was a little worried about the morning traffic but it was nothing compared to Stockholm that is the 6th worst city in the world when it comes to traffic.
The only thing we had planned was that we had to stop somewhere to buy a gift for my mother in law. She's into quilting so my wife googled and found a store in Murfreesboro, Quilt Connection.
The lady in the store was one of the most amazing person I've ever met. So friendly and sweet. We stayed there for two hours I think, watching her work on a quilt and we also talked to some people that came in. A great time indeed and we got a big doze of southern hospitality.
The scenery driving into Tennessee was spectacular with the mountains and the spring green trees and I will never forget it.
Going to Nashville is always a great time and I've been there a couple of times now and have some friends that I love to visit. This time we were there only for pleasure and no work. Shopping day time and party time at night J We also had the opportunity to visit Jill Johnson (the country queen of Sweden) as they were shooting an episode of her TV-show Jill's Porch.

"At home, you comfortable as hell!" Offset told Rolling Stone. "You not gonna be like, 'Is this hard?' It's just you in your zone. 'Bad and Boujee' was made at my house!"
On Culture II, Offset promises "the original Migos sound…Club rocking. The beat, the bass is everything. We're not really a slow-down artist. It's light, it's fun, it's lit."
"It's still trap," Takeoff added. "We got a little funkier. It's not all the way funk. There's still a Migos vibe." Offset (who's engaged to fellow breakout MC Cardi B) said the album has a female audience in mind. "See, 'Bad and Boujee' was really a ladies' record," he said. The album's autobiographical title track was written on the same day that country legend, Guy Clark, passed. "I'm not a pretty crier, and I got to my write with Jeremy Bussey that morning, red and blotchy," McBryde said in a press statement. "So, he said, 'for Guy, maybe we should write a good song, one you'd want to play at the Opry someday.' So, I told the story of when I was back in Algebra class, and we were going around the room saying what we wanted to do when we grew up. When it got to me, I said, 'I'm going to move to Nashville and write songs, and they're going to be on the radio.' The teacher looked at me and said, 'That won't happen and you better have a good backup plan.' It didn't put the fire out, it just added to it."
The album release announcement comes with a new music video from McBryde, "American Scandal." Check out the new clip, the full Girl Going Nowhere tracklisting and McBryde's 2018 tour itineraryhere.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week (Jan. 18) the Maroon 5 singer recalled a prank he pulled on Shelton after he won back in 2013. The singer had a giant poster of the People magazine cover framed ("this is not a cheap practical joke") and sent to Shelton's home in Oklahoma.
In turn, Shelton immediately hung the framed Adam Levine People mag cover--in his barn, where Levine says it hangs to this day. "I guess that lit a fire under him, and he wanted it. But he's not sexy," Levine said. Watch the full cliphere.
The 33-year-old pop star shared that her very first memory is of Mickey and Minnie mouse diapers, so she's literally been a lifelong fan. "The definition of icon may fluctuate through the ages, but there are some undeniably special characters who are iconic and I can't think of anyone who embodies that more than my dear friend Minerva Mouse (Minnie's full name)," said Perry.
"Seeing Minnie is like returning home. It is a special skill to bring joy to so many and she does it with an effortless bat of a lash," she continued. Read morehere.
