Most striking of the cuts are "Darkness, Darkness," which sounds as ominous as it ever has here with Banana's vocals backed by Ry Cooder's slide guitar and eerie sounding fiddle play from Darol Anger, the "Okie From Muskogee" knock-off "Hippie From Olema" and "Get Together" with harmony vocals provided by Youngbloods namesake Jesse Colin Young.
Other guests include David Grisman, Dan Hicks, Peter Rowan and Maria Muldaur.
