Nikki's Wives

You may never have seen a ghost but for sure you're going to hear one if you haven't already; well, in the form of the new Nikki's Wives single "Ghost," anyway. Sung slow and sensually by front woman Nikki Whitehead, the song is about how memories of a love affair are tough to shake post-breakup. Backed by a music bed of electric piano, subtle guitar and a non-intrusive beat, the obvious descriptor "haunting" is quite appropriate.

Besides Whitehead, Nikki's Wives members are Dylan Lauzon and Nate Baylor, and the band is based in Toronto, Ontario. The trio have made a lyric video for "Ghost" and a fully-produced music video of the song is ready to premiere shortly. In the meantime "Ghost" doesn't need moving pictures to garner attention; Whitehead does that nicely with her voice, and fans can expect that to be the hallmark of this intriguing outfit as they move toward the release of their forthcoming E.P. For E-V-E-R.
