Dave Davidson of Revocation tells us about the song "Communion" from their brand new album "Great Is Our Sin," which was released today by Metal Blade. Here is the story:
I was raised Catholic and went to parochial school up until I was 12. My parents weren't super religious but for many middle class families private school and a Catholic upbringing seemed like the best path for their children. I never really questioned the rituals of the church at the time even though going to confession seemed to be a bit intrusive into one's personal life. As I got older however my opinions on the church definitely changed and I began to look at these rituals in a much different light. Read more right here!
