Coal Chamber Was Sidelined By 'Deep-Seated' Issues

(TeamRock Radio) Coal Chamber frontman Dez Fafara says that members of the group have some "deep-seated sh*t" that they "need to work out" before he plays with them again.

The vocalist has previously admitted in interviews that "hard drug use" was a problem within the band which led to the original split in 2003. They reunited to tour in 2011 and also released critically acclaimed record Rivals last year - but he has put the band on the backburner while he concentrates on Devildriver.

He tells Revolver (via Blabbermouth): "I had a lot of fun doing that record and playing shows with them again. But there were some circumstances that were not ideal and that's why that thing is not continuing as of right now."

He adds: "If something comes up and I have time and want to make a record and the members have their sh*t together, I'll do it. But as of now, there's some deep-seated sh*t that certain dudes in the band still need to work out." Read more here.
