Grace VanderWaal Honored By Taylor Swift Comparison

(Radio.com) Grace VanderWaal wowed audiences with her performance on America's Got Talent. The twelve year-old sang an original song titled "I Don't Know My Name," accompanying herself on ukulele (she also plays the sax and piano).

The judges were in awe. Simon Cowell even speculated VanderWaal could be the next Taylor Swift. She was given the golden buzzer, sending her directly to the final round of competition. Radio.com spoke with Grace about the reaction to her performance and Simon's high praise. Radio.com: Simon called you the next Taylor Swift. How did that feel?

Grace: Honored is the only word I can think of. Obviously I want to be my own person. I want to be unique, but I think he meant it as the success of Taylor Swift, because everyone knows Taylor Swift, she's extremely successful, and hopefully one day I could be as successful as Taylor Swift.
