Pusha T And Jeremih Release 'Paid' from 'The Land' Soundtrack

(Radio.com) Thanks to Nas, one of the executive produces behind the upcoming film The Land, the movie's soundtrack is proving to be pretty exciting. Pusha T and Jeremih shared their track from that album, "Paid," Thursday (July 28).

Beginning with a barrelhouse-style piano, the song quickly segues into a beat-heavy number with Jeremih singing "Paid" over and over again. Pusha T raps in his first verse, "New ey, blue hundreds/ Cold winters, cruel summers/ We winners, the crew of us/ There's nothing better than living it with your brothers/ New wheels on deck/ New chill, we flex/ New chicks, we sex/ Who's up? We next/ It's a race to the finish line/ Til all my dogs eat like it's dinner time."

Nas executive produced The Land and yesterday (July 27) he shared his collaboration with Erykah Badu, "This Bitter Land," which also appears on the soundtrack. The Land follows a group of teenagers in Cleveland who attempt to escape the city to pursue their dreams of becoming professional skateboarders. Badu, Machine Gun Kelly and actor Michael K. Williams all star in the film.

Jeremih, meanwhile, has been busy. Besides recording "Paid," he just released his mixtape Late Nights: Europe on July 19. Listen to "Paid" here.
