Rae Sremmurd Release 'Black Beatles' Video

(Radio.com) Rae Sremmurd have released a new music video for that track "Black Beatles", a song that comes off their 'SremmLife 2' album. The track features Gucci Mane, who also makes an appearance in the video looking more like Michael Jackson than anything out of the Fab Four's era.

The video for "Black Beatles" is the rap world's take on the live show narrative that many rock bands release to show viewers life behind the scenes and onstage.

The brothers put their own spin on the Beatles' history. They cross a street decked out in fancy suits a la Abbey Road, and they also take to the roof to perform a special concert much like the Beatles' final performance in 1969. Thanks to the grainy effect that runs throughout the video, it feels like it belongs in the late 1960s or early 1970s rather than 2016.

Besides reliving famous moments from the Beatles' career, Khalif "Swae Lee" and Aaquil "Slim Jxmmi" practice guitars backstage, wail on them in front of a packed audience and generally live the rock 'n' roll life. Gucci Mane arrives near the halfway mark wearing a jacket that looks like a cross between Jackson's style and what Eddie Murphy wore during his 1983 stand-up special Delirious for an added flare of pop culture.
