Singled Out: Rahn Anthoni's I'll Trust You

Christian Hip Hop and R&B star Rahn Anthoni just released his new single "I'll Trust You" which was written and produced by Dove Award winner Fred Jerkins III. To celebrate we asked Rahn to tell us the deeply personal story behind the track. Here is the story:

Losing Aaron Hatcher, my special needs son, to an alleged abuse by his teachers, led to a song that should have never been written. After suffering a heart attack and having open heart surgery, I didn't want to live. My son Aaron was my all! I told my secrets to him, knowing that he would love me in spite of what I told him. I say this, because he would show his affection to me by touching my head, as if he cared about me regardless of my many mistakes in life.

This song's emotions are telling how I wanted to curse GOD and die, because my only love left me, from an alleged abuse by people we trust. I had to put my Trust in the same GOD who allowed this to happen. I learned it was the teachers who did it, not GOD. That was a hard pill to swallow, but I did it! I'm suffering from it in love. GOD I still TRUST YOU in spite of my pain, and I want the world to know how powerful you are, for allowing me to tell the world and bring awareness to all. I'm able to TRUST as I spread the word of LOVE!

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about the Rahn right here!
