Singled Out: Arrival Of Autumn's Better Off Without

K. Wiggins | 11-06-2019

Arrival Of Autumn "just hit the road with In Flames and Red and to celebrate we asked vocalist Jamison Friesen to tell us about their song "Better Off Without". Here is the story:

This song started with a demo our guitar player Ryan wrote a while ago. He composed the intro and had a few great riffs and we went from there. Once the chorus was written we knew this track would be a single.

Lyrically it's about human consciousness, how it sets us apart from other species on this planet, the role it played in the evolution of religious beliefs, and how people take advantage of others by manipulating them into thinking their consciousness is a divine voice.

Ultimately these people are losing their power, and more and more people are taking their beliefs into their own hands without fearing for their souls.

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself, see the tour dates and learn more about their new album "Harbinger" right here!
