(Radio.com) Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter Arrested For Battery was a top 16 story of 2016: Carter was arrested in Key West, Florida, following a fight outside a bar. In the early hours of the morning, Carter was booked at the Monroe County jail and charged with misdemeanor battery.
The incident happened at the Hogs Breath Saloon and a police report indicates that Carter was intoxicated. It explains that when a bartender refused to serve the singer, Carter and Michael Rae Papayans became aggressive.
Papayans allegedly head-butted an employee of the saloon while Carter allegedly grabbed a bouncer by the throat. Both were arrested and charged. The pop star later apologized for the incident. Read about that here.
