Chance the Rapper To Honor Muhammad Ali At The ESPYS

(Radio.com) When legendary musicians David Bowie and Prince passed away this year, there seemed to be no end to the tributes. But the world also lost another legendary figure when Muhammad Ali passed away on June 3rd, and Chance the Rapper intends to honor him with a performance.

In the early hours of the morning on Wednesday July 13th, Chance shared on Twitter that he would be part of a "special tribute" to the boxer at The ESPYS, ESPN's annual award show.

No word yet on who else will be involved or what music Chance will use to honor Ali, but it's sure to be a talked about performance. Chance isn't alone in using his music to honor the late athlete. John Legend paid tribute to Ali by performing "The Greatest Love of All" on June 9th. Read more here.
