Paul McCartney Jams With Grateful Dead's Bob Weir

(Radio.com) After Dead and Company wrapped up their two-night engagement at Fenway Park, Boston fans likely believed the major excitement was over. Then for an encore, Paul McCartney was joined by the Dead's Bob Weir for a pair of numbers during the Beatles legend's concert at the venue on Sunday night.

This marked the first time the two music legends ever performed together. New England Patriots tight end Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski also joined the band onstage.

Weir and McCartney performed Wings' 1972 hit "Hi, Hi, Hi" and the Beatles' "Helter Skelter," reported Billboard, McCartney captured the historic collaboration with some high-quality Instagram shots, which can be seen here.
