On Tuesday Aaron Lewis Scores No. 1 Album With Sinner was a top story. Here is the recap: Staind frontman Aaron Lewis' country music solo album "Sinner" has topped the Top 200 Albums, Top Country Albums and Top Digital Albums Charts, according to his camp.
The album success has been fueled by the single "That Ain't Country" which takes a critical view of today's more pop friendly country music stars contrasted with the legendary greats of the genre.
Lewis explains the inspiration for the track, "Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and that is what makes America great. I grew up listening to Merle, Waylon, Willie, Charlie Daniels and more on the radio. So when I listen to what is being played today, I barely recognize it as Country music. So that is where the song originated."
He will be kicking off the official U.S. tour in support of the album on October 24th in Hollywood at the Troubadour. The first leg will run until December 11th in Cleveland at the House of Blues. Read details about the second leg and see all of the dates - here.
