Slash Claimed Marriage To Perla Ferrar Was Not Legal 2016 In Review

(hennemusic) Slash (real name Saul Hudson) made news in October when he claimed that his marriage to Perla Ferrar was not legal because she was still technically wed to another man, according to an update on the couple's divorce case by gossip site TMZ.

The British-born rocker and Perla tied the knot in Hawaii in 2001 after her previous one-month marriage to Carlos Marty ended in 1993. The music couple had two children: London in 2002 and Cash in 2004.

The Hudsons discovered years later that Ferrar's divorce to Marty was not finalized properly when the pair applied for US/UK dual citizenship for their son Cash.

Perla claims the couple hired a lawyer in 2009 and had a judge finalize her divorce from Marty retroactive to 1994. Read more here.
