Sir Roger Moore, best known for his portrayal of James Bond in the film franchise during the 1970s and 80s, died on Tuesday (May 23rd) and short battle with cancer, according to his family. He was 89.
Beatles legend Paul McCartney, who scored a big hit with them Bond theme song "Live and Let Die", took to his Twitter account to pay tribute to the iconic actor.
McCartney wrote, "Roger was a great man and of course a great James Bond who I was lucky to work with during the time of 'Live and Let Die.' He had a great of gold, a great sense of humor and will be missed by the many people who love him."
