Three days after the band re-posted Swift's ad, lead singer Jimmy Adkins shared a TBT video of him playing 'The Middle" during one of her shows in his hometown of Mesa, Arizona. His caption reads:
"#TBT to the time -taylorswift invited me to 'sit in' at one of her shows in Arizona to play the middle. I made a joke at soundcheck about how rising from the middle of the arena in smoke and lights wouldn't help any more people know who this dude with a guitar was.
