(Radio.com) Country turned pop star Taylor Swift was called in for jury duty in Nashville, Tennessee and Monday (Aug 29) and was excused from service by the judge in an aggravated rape and kidnapping case.
Davidson County District Attorney General's Office spokesman Ken Whitehouse said, via Billboard, that "she asked to be left off out of concern for an upcoming trial in Denver where she was - she used the term 'groped' - by a fan at a meet-and-greet".
Radio.com reports that "a potential juror filmed a brief moment with Swift in the holding room as another potential juror off-screen shares a story about Swift's music and how much she appreciates it. The ever-considerate Swift is all smiles and attention." Check out the video here.
