Metallica Score Best Selling Rock Album In Two and Half Years was a Top 3 story on Tuesday: Metallica's new album "Hardwired � To Self-Destruct" not only debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. charts it has also scored the most first week sales for any rock album release in two and half years.

The legendary metal band's 10th studio album entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart at No. 1 after selling 281,645 copies during its first week of release. The total metric when including non-actual sales like streaming, etc was 291,266.

"Hardwired...To Self Destruct" also became the third largest chart debut of the year behind Drake's Views (852,000 in actual sales) and Beyonce's Lemonade (485,000 in sales). Read more - here.
