On Tuesday The Who Announce Desert Trip Warm-Up Concert was a top story. Here is the recap: (hennemusic) Ahead of their appearance at the inaugural Desert Trip festival, The Who will play a warm up one-off concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara, California on October 6.

Joining the band will be special guest Tal Wilkenfeld as their opening act. The Who are one of six classic rock acts set for Desert Trip, the new weekend event run by organizers of the annual Coachella festival.

Running October 7-9 and 14-16 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan will perform on Fridays, Paul McCartney and Neil Young on Saturdays and Roger Waters and The Who will close out Sunday evenings. Read more - here.
