(Radio.com) The Bataclan in Paris is set to reopen on November 12th with Sting headlining the bill which will be the eve of the anniversary of the terrorist attack at the venue during a an Eagles of Death Metal concert.
On his website, Sting wrote about the honor of being the first artist to take the stage after that terrifying night. He said he and the audience would have two things to reconcile.
"First, to remember and honor those who lost their lives in the attack a year ago, and second, to celebrate the life and the music that this historic theater represents," he wrote. "In doing so, we hope to respect the memory as well as the life-affirming spirit of those who fell. We shall not forget them." Read more here.
