Stone Temple Pilots new frontman Jeff Gutt has explained in a new interview why he has decided not to copy a signature live move of the band's late iconic frontman Scott Weiland.
Gutt, who rose to fame as a contestant on the reality signing competition show The X Factor and bassist Dean DeLeo sat down for an interview with WEBN radio in Cincinnati. When asked why he has not adopted Weiland famed use of a megaphone during live performances of the classic song "Dead & Bloated", Gutt explained, "There's a guy with a button behind the curtain somewhere that can megaphone my voice.
"There's a lot of things that were special to Scott, and that he was very innovative in, and that's just one of those things that is probably better left with him." Stream the full interview here.
