Joey Martin Feek Preparing Her Family For Her Death

(Radio.com) As Joey Martin Feek approaches the end of her life, she's been sharing precious memories and reminders with her family. The couple are currently staying near Joey's childhood home in Indiana, but she will ultimately be laid to rest on the pair's land in Tennessee.

"More than once, I have found myself beside her bed taking notes as she shares things like when the best time to plant the garden will be this spring, how to prune the fruit trees and to make sure we still set aside a percentage of what we make as a tithe each month," her husband Rory Feek tells People magazine.

Feek's daughters from a previous relationship, Heidi, 29, and Hopie, 27, have been spending time with their stepmother, along with the couple's nearly two-year-old daughter Indy.

"Though Joey didn't come into their lives until they were teenagers, my girls love her as their mother and she loves them as her own," Feek adds. Read more here.

Tim McGraw Releases 'Humble And Kind' Video

(Radio.com) Tim McGraw has unveiled a new music video for his track "Humble And Kind." The video was directed by Wes Edwards and features scenes from Oprah Winfrey's documentary "Belief," which depicts how people with a wide range of beliefs search for deeper meaning and connection with the world around them, per a press release.

"I felt like it was going to be a special song when we finished it. Then when we mixed it, it just really came alive," McGraw said in prepared statement. "It's not about being 'my' song or 'my' album or 'my' piece of music or any of those things. I think it's just the message that the world needs.

"The song is so special, we wanted the video to really have a meaning to it and the video to be really universal and worldly and encompass everyone and what the emotion of the song is." Watch the video here.

Sia Streaming New Song 'Unstoppable'

(Radio.com) As Sia promotes her new album This Is Acting, a new track appeared on her Vevo channel and it is "Unstoppable." The characteristically defiant anthem finds Sia doing what she does best--affirming her independence, resilience and pedigree in song.

"I'm unstoppable, I'm a Porsche with no brakes / I'm invincible, I win every single day / I'm so powerful I don't need batteries today / I'm so confident that I'm unstoppable today," confidently assert some of the lyrics. Overcoming vulnerability to face the world is a signature of the notoriously camera- and stage-shy songstress.

When you're a songwriter for some of the biggest names in music like Rihanna and Britney Spears, it's hard to draw the line between where their music ends and yours begins. That's why Sia composed This Is Acting of songs rejected by other artists. Check it out here.

Miley Cyrus Remixed With Kanye West's 'Black Skinhead'

(Radio.com) Ever wonder what would happen if Kanye West and Miley Cyrus collaborated on a track? Well, today might provide that very answer. Ripped audio surfaced online Thursday (Jan. 21) of Miley adding vocals to Kanye's "Black Skinhead," which appeared on his 2013 album Yeezus.

According to PopologyNow, Kanye invited Miley to record the remix immediately following her shocking 2013 MTV VMA performance. The finished product failed to make its way public. Until now, that is.

Miley starts off the track by singing before launching into a sample of Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." The "Black Skinhead" remix has a more melodic but simultaneously rougher feel than the original. Rather than relying so heavily on the beat to propel the track forward, Miley's vocals and horns provide an interesting contrast to Kanye's verses. Listen here.

Snoop Dogg in Lalah Hathaway's 'Ghetto Boy' Video

(Radio.com) Snoop Dogg appears in Lalah Hathaway's latest video, "Ghetto Boy." The song is an update of sorts of the classic Donny Hathaway song, "Little Ghetto Boy."

Donny Hathaway is Lalah Hathaway's father. "Little Ghetto Boy" was used by Dr. Dre for his rendition of "Lil Ghetto Boy," from The Chronic. Snoop also appeared on that track as well.

Lalah Hathaway's live recording of 'Little Ghetto Boy," which appears on her Lalah Hathaway Live album, has been nominated for a GRAMMY award this year. Watch the video here.

Miranda Lambert Debuts New Song 'Scars'

(Radio.com) Miranda Lambert and friends performed at Nashville's City Winery Wednesday night (Jan. 20), when she debuted a new song called "Scars." Even though the song has been on the table for years-her friend and guitarist Scotty Raye penned it 16 years back-Lambert admitted, "I was never damaged enough to sing a song called 'Scars'" (via The Boot).

What changed? "We both had, like, a really, really s-- year in 2015, and we have tattoos to prove it" she said, causing the crowd to laugh. "But we're moving forward." She called the song of her favorites, sharing that she hopes to one day put it on a record.

Lambert's clear voice against Raye's acoustic guitar lends the song a somber quality, but when they come together on the harmonies, it moves everything beyond merely melancholy. Read more here.

Ray LaMontagne Announces New Album, Releases New Single

(Radio.com) Ray LaMontagne has announced his sixth studio album Ouroboros, which will be released on March 4. The album was produced with Jim James of My Morning Jacket.

LaMontagne also shared the album's first single "Hey, No Pressure." Earlier this week, the singer sent a message (via postcard) to a small group of fans with a preview of the album's new direction.

"I would like to extend to you this humble invitation: to be among a select few of my listening audience to hear a passage from my latest composition titled 'Ouroboros'.

"'Ouroboros' is an album musically unlike any I have recorded previously. It did not make itself known to me in sections, sessions, or moments carved out of the clutter of every day life. It presented itself as the simple question: 'Will you follow me?" Read more here.
