As Son Volt founder Jay Farrar opens a new chapter on his influential alt-country band, Rhino Records pays tribute to the group with A Retrospective: 1995-2000. Full of fan favorites, this 20-song collection makes the perfect introduction for those unfamiliar with Son Volt's work, but also offers loads of rarities for those already on the bandwagon.
