Ace's Inspiration
Reader Submitted reports: Ace Frehley is featured in the March issue of Guitar World magazine. The new issue includes a short interview withthe former Spaceman, which we already mentioned in our update from January 13.

Part of the feature goes: What inspired you to play guitar?
"I was raised in a musical household, so I was surrounded by music all day. My parents played piano, and my brother and sister played piano and folk guitar. My brother showed me a few chords on his acoustic guitar. Then one day I visited a friend who had an electric guitar and a small amp, and it changed my life. I held the guitar in my hands, turned the volume up to 10 and hit the low E string, and the sound just droned. I was hooked! It was like a heroin addict's first shot of dope." Red Jumpsuit Apparatus SxSW
Virgin reports: It's hard to categorize youthful new quintet The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but it's damn fun trying. They're just as capable of playing charged, melodic riffs and singing soaring harmonies like the best pop bands, strumming plaintively and telling tales of woe like your favorite emo outfit or screaming loud enough to shatter concrete like a scorching metalcore group.

And whether they're tugging at the heartstrings or going for the jugular, these Middleburg, Floridians know how to captivate a crowd as they'll prove at this year's South By Southwest festival, where the band will be playing Blender Bar at The Ritz on March 15th. Then, on May 6, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will perform for an audience of thousands at the Bamboozle Fest at Giants Stadium. They will also hit the road this summer with the Warped Tour.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
