During an unveiling of the revamped Virgin Megastore in downtown San Francisco, Virgin Entertainment Group President and Chief Executive Glen Ward announced plans for the company to launch their new online service in 2004.
The new Virgin service will be competitively
priced. And competition they will have. Apple�s iTunes and the new Napster
lead the field but next year will likely see services debut from Microsoft,
Walmart and others.
