(Press Release) Rise To Addiction the fast rising British rockers who feature former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar), have been confirmed to appear at the inaugural "Welcome In The Beast - 666 - Metal Day Out Festival" which takes place on 6th June 2006 at the Champion Dragway, Highway 1, Near Auckland, New Zealand . A total of 18 acts will be appearing at the event, including Illdisposed (Denmark) and Flatline (USA). The band are set to perform in the early evening on the main stage.

RISE TO ADDICTION released their self titled EP last year through Madman Records. Produced by Andy Sneap (Machine Head, Killswicth Engage, Trivium ) it features three tracks 'Falling As One' , 'Everlasting Wave' , 'To A God Unknown' and also includes the promo video for the EP's opening track. The band are currently in the studio laying down tracks for their debut album, with Andy Sneap once again handling production duties. Release is expected on as yet unspecified label later this year.

In other news, the band recently parted ways with bassist Rob Naylor (ex-BLAZE), who left the band to pursue a "flying career." His replacement is Joel Graham, who has already played several shows with the group.
