Darius Rucker Scores Fifth No 1 (Top 11 of 11)
. "When we set out to record this album, we tried to choose songs that would mean something to the fans," says Rucker. "The single, "This," was a song I never thought would be a single, but that just shows you the power of the fans because they were the ones requesting it, downloading it, and playing it for their friends. It's their support that has made my career in country music possible." Rucker will celebrate his latest hit with a series of performances next week in New York City including TODAY Show, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, The Wendy Williams Show, and a benefit concert "Live From Home with Darius Rucker" at Housing Works' Bookstore Caf located at 126 Crosby Street. - more on this story
