First, there was a face mask, which looks like the kind you can pick up at Sephora or the drug store for under $10. Gaga revealed in a caption that she'd been working on her beauty for eight hours the previous day and that her team was only just now getting to the beach for her hair transformation.
She followed that with a close-up of her lip mask and a detailed description of her plumping regime. Then Gaga got into the nitty gritty of her blonde, which was done by hairstylist Patti Song. She wrote that she was going for a "clean solid classic blonde" color and so was applying virgin bleach and not balayage.
"That means "to sweep" in French, I prefer not to use this kind because it will create a more highlighted look which I don't want," Gaga wrote.
Several rounds of bleach, coconut oil and toner later, Gaga is a blonde again. "Although it was painful at times on the scalp, I like to avoid using any barriers with bleach so it's as reflective and translucent as possible while still healthy," she wrote. "Advil and pound a few Pinot, but rinse immediately if the scalp is burning too much not worth it to get blistersMy hair still feels very soft!" Check it out here.
