Last November To Open For The Braves
PR reports: Atlanta-based pop rock band Last November is set to perform at the Atlanta Braves pre-game show for Turner Field's summer concert series on Thursday, July 16, 2009. The band is set to perform two sets, the first at 5:40 PM and the second at 6:10 PM.

Luke Pilgrim, lead singer of Last November shares, "We are so honored to have the opportunity to play in our hometown at an Atlanta Braves game. It feels good to be back in Atlanta. I remember going to Braves games since I was a little kid, so getting to play at one is a pretty cool experience. Plus we've been watching HBO's 'East Bound and Down' religiously so baseball has been a popular topic in the Last November camp lately! It will be a great show and we can't wait to see all of our hometown friends."

Little Dragon Comes State Side
PR reports: Little Dragon is stateside again this week to play shows following their amazing tour with TV on the Radio in the spring. The album is getting a UK release and is available as an import only in the US at the moment.

Little Dragon have completed their spectacular second album, a pulsating electro pop epic that Prince would be proud of (only fronted by a beautiful Swedish lady with a sultry voice). "Machine Dreams" is a bold and surprising side/two step onwards from their self titled debut, released two years ago to great acclaim especially among industry folk. "Machine Dreams", with its nagging hooks and gloriously infectious tunes, is set for a UK release at the moment and pending a US release at the end of the year. In the meantime, the band kicks off their tour today with a debut in Chicago, a few dates in the Northeast, and a handpicked opening slot for Q-Tip at SummerStage this week.

Having toured relentlessly since their last record, Little Dragon found themselves achieving quite an aggressive following in the US. After sessions on KCRW's popular 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' show, their album became the most played on the station after Radiohead. No mean feat for the little dragons from Sweden, especially with the lack of a US record label to back them up. The track 'Twice' also received airplay on Grey's Anatomy and eventually the band were brought to the attention of David Sitek who became an instant fan (as did notorious basement dweller DJ Shadow) and asked them to support TV On The Radio on their US tour in May of 2009. - more on this story

Alberta Cross is coming off noteworthy performances at Bonnaroo, Coachella and SXSW and is slated to perform at Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits and more. Details on upcoming tour dates will be announced soon.

Founded by guitarist/vocalist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers, Alberta Cross took shape when the two began jamming together in London's east end. Stakee, from London by way of Sweden, and Wolfers, a Brit himself, moved to New York City in 2008 in pursuit of renewed creative energy and new challenges. - more on this story
