Strokes Bored
Rockdirt reports: The Strokes have been playing some of the songs in the set regularly for five years and singer Julian Casablancas, for one, could do with resting a few of them. "I'd be lying to you if I said ..." Casablancas tells Iain Shedden of The Weekend Australian, tailing off to gather his thoughts. "The songs used to always feel new to me, but now, at this stage, some of the ones we've been playing since the beginning, are definitely ... the intro to Last Night ... I'm sorry, excuse me ... [he says with a hand gesture to the skies] doesn't move me." [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Raunchy Lifeforce
Press Release reports: We at LIFEFORCE RECORDS are very proud to announce the signing of a multiple album deal with one of Europe's most talented and inventive modern metal acts: RAUNCHY! Raunchy’s debut Lifeforce release and third full length album entitled "…Death Pop Romance" is set to be released on February 17th

Being hailed as "Futuristic Hybrid Metal" with their previous releases on Nuclear Blast ("Confusion Bay" 2004 and "Velvet Noise" 2002), the Danish sixpack take the necessary steps to propel their sound forward by mixing intensely abrasive thrash riffs and dynamic drumming in the vein of Strapping Young Lad and Fear Factory with their signature metallic sound, while subliminally incorporating elements of pop music and melodic death metal in the vein of Soilwork or In Flames.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Highroad No. 28 Debut
submitted reports: After 7 years together and 2 EP's under their belt, Highroad No. 28 have officially released their debut album "Unsteady and Steady State". Without saying, the band are extremely proud of their efforts and the way it has all come together.

Founding member Andrew J. Cantwell explains "The first half of the record is pretty much pop-rock with the exception of one song, whilst the second half, in addition to having pop-rock tunes, has some more aggressive tracks... We pushed really hard for this album to come out the way it did, and I am all the happier for it... All I can say is be prepared!"[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
