(siN's metal news) In an interview with Trevor Strnad of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, it was revealed to SMNnews that the band will in fact be contributing to the soundtrack to the movie bearing a similar title to their band name. Currently being directed by Brian De Palma (SCARFACE), and set for release in 2006, "The Black Dahlia" stars Josh Hartnett, Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank, and others. The film is an adaptation of James Ellroy's 1940s-set novel about two Los Angeles cops who head up the hunt for the killer of fledgling actress Elizabeth Short. Strnad commented, "Yeah actually, we were contacted about being used for the soundtrack. That case man, people are going to be obsessed with it forever."[see full story for the full interview] - Click here for the Full Story
