After seven months and two singles, weekly sales were in the low thousands and airplay was minimal. In fact, during one week last May the record had bottomed out, selling just over 900 copies. Just as the Maine native was thinking of getting off the road and back in the studio, one by one stations across the country started playing "Collide," a sweeping pop song with a mile-wide chorus and irresistible charm. This past November, the song was featured in its entirety on the hit WB show "One Tree Hill" and sales jumped 73%.They've been climbing ever since.
