tinfoil reports: Some days it just isn't worth

today is one of those days for Sony's legal team. First there's word that
they are the target of two class-action lawsuits in the U.S.A. and now
the Italy's version of the EFF is suing them over the same rootkits that

Noble PR reports: If any artist deserved a
hagiography it is Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Boyd's 1973 authorized tribute
adequately sanctifies the legend. Released as a Two-Disc Special Edition
DVD by Warner Home Video (WHV) on 30th January 2006, A Film About Jimi
Hendrix, was originally released three years after the musician's untimely
death, and set the standard as to how a visual biography should be done.
The pioneering rockumentary brings together
the best live footage spanning Hendrix's entire career from his beginnings
to the iconic Monterey (1967) and Isle of Wight (1970) performances, all
digitally transferred and restored. Included in the film are the classics
"Hey Joe," "Rock Me Baby," "Like A Rolling Stone," and "A Star Spangled

Relapse reports: HIGH ON FIRE are set to film
for an up-coming appearance on the hit TV show, Monster Garage. The band
will be performing the songs "Devilution" and "Brother in The Wind" from
their critically acclaimed album Blessed Black Wings during the in-studio
taping on Friday, November 11th. The air-date for this episode is TBA.
Monster Garage, which airs Monday nights
at 9:00 pm EST on the Discovery Channel, has a weekly viewership of six
million people. The show features motorcycle-lifestyle icon and West Coast
Choppers founder Jesse James and his team of maverick mechanics transforming
ordinary cars into extraordinary mega-machines.
The following day HIGH ON FIRE will play
at West Coast Choppers' 10th annual block party; The No Love Party in Long
Beach, CA. In addition to HIGH ON FIRE, this years No Love Party will include
performances from THE ADOLESCENTS, MANIC HISPANIC, the LA Derby Dolls Roller
Derby team, Mexican wrestlers and much more. On display will be Monster

night. Stuart won the award for "Best Guitarist" for the second year running.
Richie won the "Best Drummer" award, Stu Simone won "Best Keyboard Player"
and Joe Petro won the award for "Best Bass Player"
Kelly Hansen from Foreigner also won the
"Best Male Singer" award.
The band headlined the night with a short
set and were joined onstage by Joe Lynn Turner, Kelly Hansen and Bobby
