Thrower Can't Tour |
SMN reports: Bolt Thrower have posted the
following message over at their official site:" Bolt Thrower have had to
cancel plans to tour the U.S. this year with their 'Those Still Loyal'
tour.
Unfortunately their label, Metal Blade
Records, refused to financially back the band, i.e. pay towards the flights,
etc. Despite trying to work out other ways to make this happen, the band
found they were unable to finance a tour of this scale on their own and
therefore had to stop any further planning of the tour.[see full story

punkbands reports: According to Hellcat Records
Rancid Frontman, Tim Armstrong will be release a solo album titled A Poet's
Life which will be available to download free of charge beginning on October
7th, 2006. Tim said of the CD: This year 2006, we're going to keep the
streak going. I've been in the studio, recording songs and decided to put
them out as a solo record.
This album is going to be different from
the rest, mainly because we're going to give it away for free on the internet.
It's our way of saying thanks to everyone, for all the support over the

a record full of old material. Here's what they had to say on their official
website: "Let's Rock" MxPx's brand new rarities album, is set to be released
on Side One Dummy Records in October 2006! That's like a month away! This

acoustic demo's! You'll be able to hear a songs evolution from demo to
finished product when you listen to the fan favorite "Family Affair" which

Taylor Hicks filed suit against on August 22 after he made three of the
singer's pre-"Idol" recordings available on iTunes, told MTV News Tuesday

TMZ reports: The morning crew of the Los Angeles
radio station KROQ took the Lindsay Lohan "firecrotch" phenomenon another
step forward with an acoustic rendition of a song called "Firecrotch."
Radio personality "Psycho" Mike played
the role of "Firecrotch" originator Brandon Davis. He played the song live,
on acoustic guitar, Monday morning on the "Kevin & Bean" show. The
song featured such lines as "her vagina is a freckly volcano" and "her

music.tinfoil reports: A fellow flying to
Canada recently got himself into a bit of hot water after misplacing his
iPod on an the airplane. He realised it was missing only after he returned
from the bathroom. Discovering that he had just flushed his iPod down the
toilet wasn't bad enough, things were going to get much worse: It all started
when I got out of my seat to go to the bathroom. I went to the bathroom,
washed my hands, and returned to my seat. A little while later the two
stewardesses on the flight crossed each other in the aisle. They had a
quick conversation that I was in earshot of.
"I locked off the front lav. There's something
in the toilet that's preventing it from flushing. Run some water and see
if you can clear it." My face immediately turned red. The seat cover! I
thought. It must have been too big to flush! I should have thrown it out!
"So, I had an iPod before I went to the
bathroom, and now I don't. I think I know what's in the toilet." [see full
