Canadian Ban

02/27/06
.
(punkbands) Recently defunct Tooth and Nail act Further Seems Forever ran into some trouble at the Canadian border and have apparently been banned from the country. The group was originally scheduled for a farewell performance in Calgary, Alberta on the 26th and explained the cancellation: Imagine you leave Fort Lauderdale at 6 AM fly to Houston. Run to your plane and fly to Calgary Canada. You arrive only to deal with a Power tripping Immigration lady who is pissed about an incorrectly filled out form. The promotor tries to reason with her and her boss for an hour be she won't budge.

She files papers to have you removed from Canada or go to jail! She also informs you that you are banned from Canada for 1 year under penalty of arrest and a $5,000 fine if you try to return.[They should have just said they were terrorist seeking asylum. see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
